It's late in the game. The odds are very much stacked against Todd. And our mission is both lofty and critical.

We must raise $500,000. This will cover Todd's mounting medical expenses. As an example, his monthy out-of-pocket for drugs alone is $5,000.

More importantly, it will also ensure Michele and the boys a roof over their heads, good education and peace of mind for the years ahead. It's what Todd would do for any of us.

Todd French is known by friends and community members alike as a warrior. For almost a decade, he has been a powerful force in lacrosse and football coaching in the Tri-Valley Area. His teams’ championships are numerous, and his accolades are impressive. He has spent his life inspiring young athletes to become winners. But for Todd, coaching has always been about giving back to the community that he so dearly loves. He has shaped thousands of boys into leaders and men. For this there are no trophies. Now, Todd faces the greatest battle of his life, lung cancer.

Todd's life journey began a long way from Danville, California. He grew up back east in Rochester, New York. During his formative years at Rush Henrietta High School Todd developed his deep love for sports. It was also there that he met the love of his life, Michele. Their life together would have to wait as they chose different colleges.

After graduating from Old Dominion University in Virginia, and receiving his MBA from Montclair State in New Jersey, Todd launched into the cutthroat world of commercial real estate in New York City. He had great success at CB Richard Ellis and later at Tishman Speyer based in Rockefeller Center. During this time he reconnected with Michele. They were married in 1996.

In 1997, while living in Montclair, New Jersey, Todd and Michelle started a family with the arrival of their first son Austin. In 2000, they were blessed with their second son, Cole. Around this time Todd started looking for a new business challenge and the ideal place to raise their boys. The lure of the West and the technology boom brought them to Danville. Todd went to work for a start-up called iBuilding, leveraging his real estate background. Soon after that, he moved to Angus Systems where he has headed up global sales ever since.

His arrival to California also allowed Todd to pursue his greatest passion, coaching. But now this warrior coach needs OUR help to “Beat the Beast.” With expensive clinical trials on the horizon he can’t do it alone. He needs our financial support now.
